Production Assistant

We are looking for a Production Assistant to join our team and assist with the production of our products. The ideal candidate will have experience in a production environment, be detail-oriented, and have excellent organisational skills. The Production Assistant will be responsible for helping to ensure that all products are produced in a timely manner, meeting quality standards and that all necessary materials are available. The successful candidate will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the team in executing the production schedules
• Pack products to different types of packaging
• Make bars,conche chocolate and other goods
• Prepare raw materials for production, and ensure FIFO is in place
• Use machinery, move equipment, and lift goods and ingredients if required
• Be able to switch between various production stations as per production requirements
• Ensure to comply with established procedures and processes
• Make sure all relevant paperwork is up to date
• Keep good GMP standards in place
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are being followed
• Maintain good working relationships
• Act as an example, keep good communication in place
• Ad-hoc duties as required.
• Continuously develop skills and knowledge

The shift pattern is from Monday to Thursday, 6-16.30(may be subject to change in the future)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

• 1 year food/manufacturing industry (preferred)
