Production Assistant - Garment Presser

Gaelic Themes is a manufacturer of highlandwear and accessories and exports worldwide. We are expanding our jacket and kilt making operations in Glasgow and are looking for a garment presser in our Glasgow factory.

As a Hand Presser you will be responsible for the pressing of garments such as jackets, skirts, kilts or trousers in various fabrics using industrial pressing equipment.

Skills required include:

• Must be comfortable working as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and adaptable.

While full training will be provided at least 1 year of experience working with pressing/ironing equipment is preferred

37.5 hours per week. Monday – Thursday 7.30am to 5.20pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.60-£11.50 per hour
