Part of a Multi-National Group, Mitsui Components Europe Ltd are an established, world leading manufacturer of high spec door locking systems for the automotive industry.

PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

£10.42 / Hour

We are currently recruiting for a Production Associate to report to the Production Supervisor.

Whilst the ideal candidate will be a motivated, diligent and have experience of a similar role preferably within the automotive industry, we are happy to consider any candidate with the right attitude towards the role.

Role Summary:

• To assemble all variations of locks, actuators and sub-assemblies to the required production, delivery and quality standards.
• To complete and record quality and production checks

The main duties associated with the role:

• Assemble locks, actuators and sub-assemblies following work instructions, meeting hourly targets and delivery deadlines.
• Check quality of work on line both visually and using testing equipment.
• Record productivity and quality data on a daily basis, completing daily record sheets accurately.
• Achieve the prescribed level of multi skilling, demonstrating knowledge, skill and application recorded on the Training Matrix.
• Work as part of a team showing a level of flexibility and participation in group activities.

Specific skills and experience/knowledge required:

• Previous component assembly experience in a factory environment of benefit.
• Previous experience of working in a U – Line or cell environment of benefit.
• Good level of dexterity.
• Good level of numeracy and literacy.

Although the role will be initially working a day shift pattern.
