Production Operative

At Rainbow Plastics we are looking for hard working, honest and motivated individuals to join our family run business.

We recycle and manufacture rotomolded plastic servicing customers all over the UK.

The right candidates duties will include operating the following:

• Counter-Balance Truck
• Extrusion Machine
• Pulverising Mill
• Bandsaw
• Reciprocating saws

The role also includes general warehouse duties to maintain a safe level of cleanliness. You will also be expected to undertake any other reasonable tasks that are required within the business to maintain production.

Counterbalance forklift experience is essential, experience of running the machines is not essential as training will be provided however the correct applicant must be willing and eager to learn and be able to deal with high pressure working. A background in engineering will be a bonus.

40 hours per week, full time positions available. Shifts rotate between days (6am - 2pm) and afternoons (1pm - 9pm).

Salary: £11.40 per hour
