PRODUCTION OPERATIVE (Full-Time)

JOB TITLE: PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

REPORTING TO: Production Supervisor

LOCATION : 21 Carn Road, Carn Industrial Estate, Craigavon, BT 63 5WG

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To work as part of the production team on the production line dishing and preparing meals for packing and despatch.

DAYS OF WORK: Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm

KEY ACTIVITIES:

- Assisting the Production Supervisor and team with production to packing, measuring, dishing out, sealing and labelling.

- Assisting with general cleaning during and at end of day.

- Assisting with daily Food Recording Processes during and at end of day.

- Assisting across departments to meet demands of orders when required.

- Any other duties required by Management to assist with the smooth running of the business.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential:

- An excellent knowledge of food hygiene, food allergies and food preparation along with positive attitude.

- High standards of cleanliness.

- Able to work as part of a team

- Able to work on own initiative when required.

- Able to adapt to different job roles as and when required.

- Follow all health and safety regulations.

- Good organisational and communication skills

- Have a good standard of health

- Integrity and good interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

- 1 Year’s experience in food production environment

- Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate or higher (this will be essential training requirement if successful in getting this job)
