Production Operative - Masker

Our business is currently undergoing a period of growth and to support these exciting growth plans we are looking for Maskers to join our busy team based in Colwyn Bay.

The Role

As a Masker you will support in the application of super abrasive coatings for the Aerospace Industry. You will be working as part of a small team requiring you to perform your own tasks as well as supporting the other members of the team in delivering theirs.

• Ability to work accurately and methodically and able to follow a fixed process whilst understanding the controls around a safety critical part manufacturing methodology.
• Ability to prioritise workload using an in-house system.
• Application of masking tape and/or paint to intricate parts by hand
• De-Masking of completed parts.
• Preparation for final inspection
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
• Excellent manual dexterity with attention to detail for long periods.
• Familiarity within Aerospace industry or Automotive would be advantageous with some knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001
• Health & Safety awareness
• Good computer skills

Salary and Benefits

Base Salary: £23,000 plus 6% shift premium

Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday 6:00 -14:00, Friday 6:00 - 13:30

Training hours: Monday to Thursday 07:45 to 16:15 and Friday 07:45 to 12:45 (approx. 3 months)

Total Salary including shift premium: £24,380.00 per year.
