Production Operative (working Monday to Friday with weekends off)

LOCATION: Holly Road, Skegness

HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8.00pm - 4.00pm, with a 30-minute break)

PAY RANGE: £10.90 per hour

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a full time Production Operative to join our MicronDevices Team at Holly Road, Skegness. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the manufacture of sterile medical products such as syringes as well as other medical devices.

Key Duties to include:

• Supporting in the manufacture of sterile medical products.
• Checking for quality issues and non-conformances during the production process.
• Adhering to company policies and quality procedures
• Attending and contributing to departmental team briefs/updates
• Working to departmental JWI’s/SOP’s
• Supporting the team and team leader to reach and exceed daily targets
• Proactively engage and follow site health and safety procedures and site rules at all times
• Adhere to and maintain company good housekeeping standards

The Ideal Candidate:

• Candidates must be physically capable for the demands of the role
• Attention to detail in supporting the Team Leader and Deputy Co-ordinator in meeting company and customer quality requirements
• Good understanding of safe working practices and importance of compliance
• Understand set targets and KPI’s within the department
• Good self-motivation, initiative and commitment to the business
• Willing to work flexible hours as and when required
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance
• Good level of spoken and written English

Training and support will be provided and the successful candidate must be willing to attend courses/sessions as and when offered, in order to continue development of operational efficiency working practices.

Production Operative role - Employment Details

• Full-time, permanent, year round employment, working Monday to Friday with weekends off.
• Part of our Sterile Packs team
• 30 days’ annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing to 33 days for loyalty service.
