Production Operator

As one of the largest fabricators in the United Kingdom and Ireland, we have over 170 employees. Our staff turnover is extremely low, meaning our team is highly experienced with excellent product knowledge. We operate from a state-of-the-art 70,000 sq. foot factory in Belfast and we also have a factory in Cumbernauld, Scotland.

We have a number of temporary dayshift & nightshift positions available within our production facility. Overtime is available on a regular basis.

Dayshift: Mon to Thurs 8am - 4.50pm Fri 8am - 4pm

Nightshift: Mon to Thurs 9pm – 7am (4 nights - 40 hours).

Production operatives will be expected to work on a fast paced production line and will be required to perform a number of functions ranging from fitting, matching, beading, welding, machining, steel cutting, stores and despatch.

Applicants should be hard working and able to work on their own initiative and as part of a wider team and be able to follow instructions from their Team Leaders.

Qualifications/experience required

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time and attendance record
• It is essential for these positions that candidates are able to work from and understand written instructions

Desirable criteria

• Previous experience in window/door and/or patio door fitting
• Previous experience using window machinery and/or experience of fitting gear components on window and door frames
• A working knowledge and understanding of the Rehau Profile system
• basic IT skills

10% Nightshift premium applies.
