Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £27,344 to £29,439 per annum (Grade G) | Ketteringham, Saddlebow, Aylsham or County Hall
Norfolk County Council is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and organised individual to join our busy Bridge Maintenance Team as a Programme Technician.
The role requires a confidant proactive person, as you will be a point of contact for our site technicians and subcontractors.
You will be required to assist Site Engineer in raising work orders, organising ongoing bridge maintenance schemes and projects, and to obtain appropriate permits and consents from governing bodies to assist in the timely resolution of bridge maintenance projects.
You will need to have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, providing an efficient and effective communication, recording and collating data for Norfolk’s Asset database.
Candidates must be organised and have excellent communication skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships while working in a pressurised environment.
This is an office based role and you will be based at one of our area highways depots at either Ketteringham, Saddlebow, Aylsham or County Hall.
