Project Accountant - Hemel Hempstead (m/f/d)

Your Challenge

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Accountant to join our rapidly growing team in Swarco Smart Charging Ltd. You will work in liaison with the projects team, to account for and report on project profitability and to own the investigation/resolution of questions arising from that process. This role is Hybrid working based in Hemel Hempstead.

Key Responsibilities

• Monthly management accounts preparation and reporting in respect of detailed sales & margin analysis on projects (Group accounting requirements)
• Monthly reporting of profitability by project on a month and YTD basis for internal management reporting requirements
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts related to project profitability and ensuring these are both accurate and valid.
• Resolution of any issues or queries in relation to project accounting
• Project accounts preparation
• Liaising with the Projects team
• Supporting the wider accounts team

Your Profile

• Part-qualified accountant or QBE
• Demonstrable experience of meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains/Power BI desirable but not essential
• Computer literate/Excel/Word/Good and Telephone skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High level of attention to detail/accuracy
• Tenacious in achieving resolution of issues
