A fantastic opportunity for a number of Project Engineers to join the Aerospace and Defence division of a $4 billion global engineering business.

The Project Engineers will join an established engineering team and will be responsible for the successful delivery of high technology projects for the space industry. You will responsible for providing detailed project designs, technical assessments, analysis and documentation for all projects.

Due to business growth, we are recruiting Graduate Engineers, Junior Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers to join the team.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and following a structured, gated process key tasks will include;

• Act as technical representative to the customer

• Electrical, Mechanical and thermal analysis of designs (Nastran/Femap)

• Specification of components

• Support tests internally or at 3rd party test houses

• Data checks and verification

• Produce relevant documentation and reports

• Manage risk and communicate in technical information to stakeholders

• Work closely with Product Assurance and Project Managers to ensure accuracy of data

Key Requirements

• Degree qualified in a Scientific/Technology/Engineering/Maths discipline

• Experience working as an Engineer in a customer facing role

• Experience of design, analysis and testing in a regulated environment

• Experience working in the space industry - advantageous

• Strong IT skills with experience of analysis software

• Strong presentation and report writing skills

• High attention to detail and able to examine data clearly

• Problem solver
