Project Manager- Civils

Ferns Group are an established Utilities and Reinstatement company, specialising in Telecoms Civils, and tailored reinstatement services. We are continuing to expand our Telecoms expertise in new regions.

Due to successful continued growth we have a vacancy for an experienced Civils Project Manager to join our team, based at our offices in Ford Lane, Wrotham, TN15 7SE.

What will you be doing?

You'll be managing network build projects involving civils works on the BT Openreach network. Reporting to the Contract Director, you will be responsible for overseeing high volume projects on existing / new network build, involving civils repairs to the underground Openreach infrastructure including;

• managing a team Supervisors, direct staff and subcontractors, ensuring all works are completed within Health, Safety, Quality and Street Works guidelines
• Managing KPI’s and the productivity of staff
• Ensuring that works are delivered within agreed timeframes and budgets
• Holding regular review meetings with subcontractors ensuring that they are completing allocated work accordingly
• establishing yourself as a key contact for our client, including conducting regular progress meetings

What you'll need:

• Project Management experience of high volume civils projects involving civils and fibre aspects on the Openreach Network
• Telecoms network build experience ideally on a previous ONSA Contract
• Methodical operational experience with good management skills
• Excellent communication skills with the team and our client

Salary: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
