Project Manager

We work with clients the likes of Intel to reduce their green house gases that are produced when etching electronic chips. So, everything we do helps protect the environment.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join Edwards abatement solutions in Clevedon. Working under the Programme Manager and with like-minded engineers in our Programme Management team based at our centre of excellence just south of Bristol.

Edwards Clevedon is operational in a developing and exciting industry, generating circa. $111M in revenue during the 2021 financial year with further growth forecast. In the Project manager role, you will have overall responsibility and accountability for the delivery of next generation product delivery. You will monitor, review, and provide reporting of the project status in accordance with defined requirements, as agreed with the project sponsor and programme manager.

Main Responsibilities

• Leading projects with budgets typically in the region of $5-10M+.
• Enabling collaboration of cross functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and procurement.
• To lead and co-ordinate a high performing multidisciplinary project team to deliver project requirements on time and to budget which have been communicated and agreed by the Programme Manager.
• Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team of 10-20+ engineers, providing cross-functional plans to meet project deliverables both technical and commercial.

Education/Qualifications

• 
  A good Engineering/Scientific degree - essential
• Project management qualification. Preferably Prince 2, APM certified or equivalent. - desirable

Skills & Abilities

• 5 years involvement in the process of product development in a high technology environment, with 3 years’ experience in a project management capacity - desirable
• Excellent IT literacy, being a competent user of MS office including MS Project essential.
• Must be a good communicator and have excellent fluency in spoken and written English.
• Influencing, communication, presentation and negotiating skills, both internally and externally
