FILM AND SMART SURFACE SOLUTIONS (FSSS)

Our newest division capitalizes on emerging trends in displays and in-mold electronics in the automotive industry. It combines our extensive offering of speciality films for the industrial and automotive industries with our developing portfolio of conductive and non-conductive inks. The combination of these products allow us to create a formed, structurally rigid three dimensional part that’s decorative with circuit pathways and enhanced electronic features to enable the human-machine interface in an automobile

Job Purpose

To manage the delivery of new business development projects, coordinating with Product Managers and Application Team to ensure that the associated projects are delivered on time and to the specified requirements.

Provide a focal point for the project management of the different pillars of new business development.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop new business development related plans.
• Define project scope and objectives for each individual project, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring all technical and R&D aspects are fully considered and understood.
• Work with the Product Managers and Application Manager to develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress, ensuring their feasibility.
• Coordinate and monitor projects to ensure they are delivered on-time, within scope and to an acceptable standard.
• Ensure adequate resource availability and clear allocation of people as required.
• Manage changes to project scopes, project schedules and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Manage risks to ensure the program’s successful outcome.
• Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation.
• Track and measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Report regularly on program status to management.
• Manage the relationship with all stakeholders.
• Delegate project tasks based on staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels.
• Resolve problems with program as they arise, escalating to management as needed.
• Make sure company standards are always upheld.
• Ensure that Company ISO, Health, Safety and Environmental policies are fully implemented during all activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

Educated to degree level with previous experience gained in project management roles

Skills

• Proven ability in managing complex projects.
• PRINCE2 qualification desirable
• An effective team player in a complex environment.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager or other managerial position.
• Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage
• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• Desire and drive to meet deadlines
