So Comedy, the live department of production company So Television, is looking for an Edinburgh-based street team to assist with the marketing of our Edinburgh Festival shows during August, primarily through distributing promotion materials. This is a part time, temporary role primarily working afternoon & evening shifts with schedules to be discussed at interview.
We are looking for individuals who will feel at ease approaching and talking with members of the public and 'selling' a show.
Joining the So Comedy team will provide an opportunity to get immersed in the festival environment and therefore especially well suited to individuals interested in the comedy and live entertainment industry, and looking to expand their work experience & networks in this area. There will also be opportunities to watch the shows and receive complimentary tickets for friends (subject to availability) as well as access to festival social events. Knowledge of Edinburgh and previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential. If the above sounds like the perfect fit we'd love to hear from you.
Hourly Rate: £14 per hour plus holiday provision
