Hours: 37 hours per week with 1/2 hour lunch break, plus attendance at weekly PDM meetings and 5 inset days per year.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time, Term Time Only

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed pupil engagement worker, who firmly believes that every child, regardless of their circumstances, can achieve excellent outcomes. The staff team are passionate about their work and support each other in their aim to provide the best for every child, every day. All enjoy their work and participate, wholeheartedly, in the professional culture that pervades.

We are looking for someone who:

• Believes that children ‘surprise us daily’ if we let them.
• Is self-driven to improve.
• Enjoys working with parents and families in partnership, enabling children to succeed.
• Is adaptable and flexible and can work well in a team.
• Can work within an agreed framework of supervision to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities, for individuals/groups or whole classes on a short-term basis
• Has experience of monitoring and assessment, recording and reporting on pupil achievement, progress and development.
• Will support the development of safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Ensure support and guidance is provided for both pupils, staff and our wider community.
• Has experience working with Primary age children (Foundation to Year 6)
