Into Play has been established for over 30 years and enjoys an outstanding reputation. We are looking for passionate, committed, qualified practitioners to join our amazing teams at our sites on Barnwood Rd & The Quays in Gloucester.

Applicants will require a minimum Level 2 in Early Years/ childcare and a willingness to further their professional development.

Positions available:

• Full-time, consisting of 41 ¼ hours per week on a Rota basis between the hours of 7.30 a.m. – 6.00 pm (e.g., 7.30 - 4.45pm/ 8 - 5.15 pm/ 8.45 - 6 pm)

• Part- time consisting of 2, 3 or 4 (8 ¼ hr) days per week on a Rota basis between the hours of 7.30 a.m. – 6.00 pm (e.g., 7.30 - 4.45pm/ 8 - 5.15 pm/ 8.45 - 6 pm)

All positions are permanent and for 52 weeks of the year (nursery closes for 1 week at Christmas plus all Bank Holidays)

Role Purpose/ Key Objectives:

• To support a team in a child-centered environment which is FUN.
• Ensure the children are cared for in a safe, educationally stimulating way helping them reach their full potential.
• To build excellent relationships with parents/carers and be able to record progress and feedback regularly.
• Be responsible for and oversee the implementation of Into Play’s policies and procedures with an emphasis on safeguarding as set down by the local Safeguarding Board.
• Deliver and uphold Into Play’s Vision & Core Values on an ongoing basis.
• Provide support to the Nursery Manager and other room leaders.
• To develop links with other childcare settings including our other sites.
