Radiology HCA

Radiology Healthcare Assistant | Imaging | HCA | Band 2/3 depending on experience | Manchester | Full Time, No Nights.

Spi re Manchester Hospital is looking for a Radiology Healthcare Assistant to join our busy department on a full-time basis. To assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary patient care and examination.

The Manchester team currently consists of over 800 colleagues and we are rapidly expanding as we increase the scope of services we provide across our experienced and dynamic teams.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting the Imaging team in the provision of exemplary patient care
• Helping with administrative duties such booking patient appointments.
• Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
• Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person
• Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies

Who we're looking for:

• Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
• NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
• Cannulation experience desirable but not essential
