Receptionist (Full Time)

Spire Bristol Hospital is in search of a Receptionist to join the outpatient’s desk to provide an efficient service to patients. This will be working on a rota basis covering a mix of early and late shifts so you will need to be flexible to this Monday – Friday with the occasional Saturday – where you will get a day off in the week in this care. We are also offering an enhanced pay for any unsocial hours in the week and an entire shift on a Saturday.

With 76 beds, 5 operating theatres, and the only private hospital in the South West with an Intensive Care Unit, Spire Bristol Hospital has been providing excellent care, expertise and knowledge in a supportive and progressive environment for over 32 years.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Welcoming, registering and directing patients, consultants and hospital teams as required, to the hospital in a warm, professional and caring manner and in such a way as to provide confidence.
• Updating patient information to SAP in a precise, in a timely manner whilst ensuring efficient and professional registration of patients
• Ensuring that credit card data is captured for all patients attending the hospital
• A willingness to assist other departments as and when required.
• Undertake all work in accordance with company hospital policies and procedures. Ensuring familiarity with the Health and Safety at Work Act, including manual handling and fire procedures

Who we're looking for:

• High degree of accuracy and a methodical approach to workload
• Ability to work under pressure within a busy Front of House role.
• Previous Receptionist/Administration experience (Advantageous)
• Confident manner on the telephone
