Job Description

Next Thing Education provides schools with fun and exciting TECH clubs and camps using the latest and greatest technology. We aim to take people with a passion for technology and put that passion to great use - teaching children something new and exciting.

From Virtual Reality, Drones, to pretty much anything with a computer inside, we use cutting-edge technology that not only encourages learning, but inspires children to become STEM leaders.

We have a vacancy for Recruitment & Administration assistant to join our successful team covering our holiday camps. We operate in Surrey, Bath,Bristol, Taunton, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Kent and Redhill.

Roles and Responsibilities, but not limited to

  • Building and maintaining a positive attitude amongst your team
  • Visiting staff at schools and other venues to assess, support and train
  • Recruiting to ensure sufficient staff at all sites at all times
  • Conducting regular appraisals with staff to ensure development and progression
  • Organising regular team building events and activities
  • Organising equipment collections and returns
  • Ensuring all staff have the correct training and checks for them to carry out their duties
  • Creating and managing company policies
  • Conducting training days
  • Completing venue paperwork and ensuring all parties have all items required

Requirements:

  • Strong work ethics
  • Fast proactive approach
  • Find answers and deal with problems as they present themselves
  • Familiar with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Fast Proactive approach, comes up with new ideas and suggestions and can work independently
  • A keen interest in technology
  • Enjoys developing and helping others
  • Ambitious with a desire to perform at the best ability

Salary:

  • £12.50 per hour.
  • £11.00 per hour for 3 month probatory period

Experience:

  • No experience needed, training will be provided

Education:

  • A-Level or equivalent (Preferred)

Licence:

  • Driving License (Must have)

Work remotely:

  • Considered per applicant
  • On-site parking
  • Work from home

Schedule:

  • 6 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus scheme
  • Performance bonus
  • Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire when requested. Depending on home location

Education:

  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary: From £12.50 per hour
