Science-news website looking for remote copyeditor.

Must have excellent English language and writing skills, 2+ years editing experience, AP style experience, American English, and be available Monday-Friday 09:00 AM - 12:00 PM (BST).

Responsibilities:

• Provide formatting and proofreading/copyediting for web content
• Strive for the quality of the published materials according to company standards.

Requirements:

• Excellent English language and writing skills
• 2+ years editing experience
• AP style experience, American English
• Must be tech-savvy, as all work is done independently within the site CMS
• A dedicated remote workplace: a fast computer, large external monitor, reliable internet connection, webcam, keyboard and mouse
• Science research or science publishing experience is a plus

Compensation: £20-22 / hour, freelance contract
