In this role, you will be based in our state-of-the-art new office on Lancaster Business Park. These new facilities allow Ascentis to be well placed to capitalise on new market opportunities as we look to sustain success in the UK and internationally.

The role

We are currently looking for an organised and proactive Research Analyst to join our Commercial team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, supported through work based or academic experience. As the Research Analyst, you will undertake analysis and research which will inform new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations, recruitment of new centres and the development of qualifications and other products. You will undertake defined research projects using the most appropriate methods and techniques with an emphasis on conducting data analysis and the evaluation and reporting of quantitative and qualitative data.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• To actively support the Commercial team in delivering on strategic objectives, through undertaking quantitative and qualitative research to enable informed decision making and prioritisation.
• Produce and analyse large data sets in order to meet commercial needs.
• Support the development of project proposals and bids for funding.
• Liaise and facilitate cross-functional teams, with an emphasis on identifying opportunities for the development of qualifications and related products.
