Role: Residential Childcare Worker

Salary: Up to £22,975.68 per annum

Location: Wiltshire

Hours: Full Time; Permanent (182 hours per month, 12 hour shifts, 2 Week rolling rota.

Week 1: Mon, Fri, Sat, and Sun

Week 2: Tues, Wed, Thurs)

Some of your duties would be as follows;

• Supporting the children to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out
• Completing relevant paperwork
• Undertaking household tasks
• Engage our children and young people in tasks and activities

Acorn Education & Care are recruiting Residential Childcare Workers to join our teams within the Wiltshire area.

At The Farmhouse your empathy and warmth will enable you to support vulnerable children aged 7-18 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH). This means that the Children we care for may have experienced challenging or traumatic upbringings and may have difficulties with anxiety, mental health or in some cases self-harm.

This home itself is a calm and quiet home located close to Salisbury. There are animals in the grounds which the children love to visit as a part of their therapeutic programs.

The Farmhouse is based in Porton, and is within commuting distance from Salisbury, Andover, Shaftesbury and surrounds.
