We are currently recruiting for a Restaurant Manager at Braye Beach Hotel in Alderney, Channel Islands

Braye Beach Hotel is one of the newest additions to the Hand Picked Hotels collection. Set in a stunning and tranquil location with beautiful views this is a great opportunity to experience life in Alderney and work as part of a professional team.

About the role:

Are you an experienced restaurant professional looking for your next challenge? We are looking for an attentive and charming Restaurant Manager to join our Hand Picked team at Braye Beach Hotel in Alderney.

As the Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for helping manage the team overseeing breakfast, lunch and dinner, ensuring our guests enjoy every meal will put a smile on your face and motivate you on a daily basis. You will work closely with the management team to achieve these goals.

You are the ultimate hospitality professional able to make each and every guest feel special and have the ability to encourage and motivate a team to do the same. Your knowledge of food and drink will inspire others and you will enjoy sharing your knowledge through regular training and development.

Of course, being a Restaurant Manager requires a lot of skill and dedication, so you will have incredible organisational skills and attention to detail, along with stamina and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

This is a full time position of contracted 40 hours, working between the hours of 10:00am to 11:00pm, to include weekends on a rota basis.

About you:

• To be considered for this role you will need to have recent experience as a Restaurant Manager, with exposure to busy breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
• You will be happy to relocate to Alderney, Guernsey
• It is vital you feel comfortable in a fast-paced, busy environment
• You will be a team player with a professional approach, bags of enthusiasm and a big smile
• You will take pride in your appearance, and proud to be the face of Hand Picked
• You will be passionate about drinks and hospitality
• Most of all, you’ll have a friendly, positive and proactive manner
