Scope of the Role
The main purpose of this role is to help customers identify and purchase the products they require, whilst upselling branch promotions, associated products and add-ons. Working on the shop floor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all customers are welcomed in a friendly manner, complaints and queries are dealt with efficiently and the store areas are merchandised as per the company’s principles. It is also the responsibility of the Retail Assistant to process purchases, bag/box products for safe delivery and clean/tidy when required.
Terratruck has a reputation for high quality customer service, knowledgeable advice and friendly, helpful staff. It is the responsibility of the Retail Assistant to maintain these standards. The position is highly varied and requires you to work in a dynamic fast paced environment.
