Job Purpose

We are looking for a friendly and approachable Retail Host to join our team, to be the first point of contact for our department stores.

The Retail Hosts will ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the business and ensuring that every guest has the best experience possible whilst shopping with us.

The Retail Hosts will ensure shelves are fully stocked and merchandised correctly, upsell to our visitors when they are choosing a souvenir or gift item from their trip to KidZania. This role includes delivering exceptional guest service, driving sales and up keeping of standards and service.

Experiential focused, we aim to create memorable shopping experience for all our customers, we do this by engaging with our customers, by promoting our brand values, mission and RightZKeepers.

Our RightZKeepers are an essential part of KidZania, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate their knowledge to customer’s and bring our RightZKeepers and the right they embody to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service which includes greeting customers, answering their questions and ensuring optimal customer satisfaction

• Achieve sales goals
• Operate cash registers, process point of sale purchases and balance drawers
• Advise customers on products and services that best suit their needs
• Learn about new products, services and company policies regularly
• Keep the sales floor clean and visually appealing
• Handle merchandise returns
• Cross-sell products to increase revenue

Essential Criteria

• Previous experience in a similar role within retail
• Enthusiastic, passionate, energetic and positive
• Hardworking and have a can-do attitude
• Exceptional team players with excellent communication skills
• Well presented with a friendly manner
• Passionate about customer service
• Excited about the opportunity of educating our future generation Able to work in a busy and fast paced environment.

Desirable Criteria

• Similar background preferably within the attractions, hospitality, entertainment, retail sectors

We are based in Westfield London, Shepherds Bush.

Brief description of the selection process:

There will be a two-stage interview process, beginning with a virtual first stage interview.

The final stage interview will be competency-based interview. Candidates are encouraged to use the ‘STAR’ (Situation, Task, Action, Result) method when responding to competency questions, using relevant examples.
