Our 12-Month Development Programme

Throughout our 12-M programme, you'll have access to a series of learning opportunities that will help to propel your career further, faster. The programme will consist of series of courses that have been designed to accelerate your career, giving you access to the knowledge, skills, and behaviours for success at THG. Each course will include a number of workshops, team takeovers, and engagement initiatives.

About the Risk & Insurance Team and Your Role

The Risk & Insurance team push the boundaries of risk management, with experts who are focused on and passionate about managing exposure and advising on existing and evolving and emerging risks, ensuring clarity is found where they may be uncertainty.

Reporting directly into the Chief Risk Officer, the Risk and Insurance team are required to provide support and guidance to leaders and employees across all divisions of THG, reporting back to the Risk Committee on key issues/progress made on a quarterly basis.

The Risk and Insurance Graduate will join a team of talented risk and insurance experts, working to deliver innovative solutions to complex issues. The Graduate will also have the opportunity to meet and discuss risk and insurance issues with senior leaders across the business and provide constructive challenge and support, wherever required. As an example they will learn about the people, financial and cyber risks that THG face and how as a business we look to manage, mitigate and reduce these risks with the risk owners.

• Learn about the world of insurance and the role it plays in meeting THG's strategic objectives
• Become familiar with every part and aspect of the THG group businesses
• Gain a solid understanding of risk, learning how to guide others to manage, mitigate and reduce it

Role Requirements

• Passionate and willing to learn
• Strong communicative skillset and confident in building and developing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Organised with their time
• Be willing to travel occasionally to London to meet with brokers/insurers (cost covered by the business)
• Able to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a cohesive team
• Ideally be willing to undertake professional qualifications in risk and insurance
