The position:
Following the retirement of a partner we are looking for a salaried GP with or without a view to partnership.
The position is for up to 8 sessions a week, but this is flexible for candidates who are looking for fewer sessions. We offer a good level of remuneration in addition to 6 weeks paid holiday
About us
We are a friendly, supportive partner led practice with a wide ranging and diverse clinical team and good managerial and admin support. The practice has a list size of 13,200 and has consistently high QoF achievement.
We are part of a very innovative and advanced Primary Care Network, giving us access to a host of clinicians and support services (Matrons; Clinical Pharmacists; Dieticians; Enhanced Care Homes Team; First Contact Physios, Centralised Workflow Optimisation Team).
We are a GP training practice with 2 trainers and are able to offer first class support to all of our clinical team and have a track record of retaining and developing our GP registrars. We are in the process of applying for Tier 2 sponsorship status.
The practice benefits from good road and rail links and has access to plenty of free parking.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a doctor who is enthusiastic, innovative, hardworking and works well in a very supportive team.
You would undertake all the clinical duties associated with a GP working in primary care. The practice has worked hard to foster a good work life balance for all of its clinical team and there is currently no requirement to offer enhanced access availability and we do not operate a duty doctor system. All clinical admin is shared on pooled lists and completed equally by salaried GP’s, partners and locums.
