Sales Executive (Part Time Weekends)

We are a true family owned business, having stores located in Ripon, Northallerton and Catterick Garrison, along with a rapidly growing online presence. We are looking for a self driven and highly motivated sales executive to achieve high standards of sales performance, first class customer service, excellent store presentation and administration. We require our sales team to communicate the importance of how a new quality mattress or bed aids in a better night’s sleep. Providing a knowledgeable and friendly customer service experience, whilst guiding customers to ultimately choosing the right product for their needs as simply and smoothly as possible.

Role & Responsibility

• To carry out the daily store operation and acknowledge and approach unattended customers, establish their requirements, and showing relevant merchandise, engaging in conversation and discussing quality and colour/price options.
• Managing customer expectations and ensuring our wonderful customers are being well looked after from start to finish.
• Good physical endurance and to be able to assist with any deliveries that may arrive in.
• To work well within a team and individually with a can-do attitude.

Job Related Skills or Competencies

• Previous retail and customer facing experience would be advantageous.
• Administrative capability, competent level of computer skills required to use our software systems and payment terminals (training will be provided)
• Well organised, with excellent time management skills.
• Multi-tasking and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Professionalism and outgoing personality.
• Clean, tidy and presentable image.
• Self motivated and driven

Work Location at Simply Beds Northallerton or Ripon every weekend. Maybe required to work in Catterick on occasion.

As this is a retail position, our busiest times are at weekends therefore the ideal candidate must be able to work weekends.

Part time – 2 days a week. Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays (extra)

Achievable Salary (Including Commission) £11,000 - £13,000 per year

Basic Salary £8,500 + Commission

Achievable salary includes commissions & incentives and the opportunity to progress within our ever-growing bricks and mortar and our eCommerce business.
