We have an exciting opportunity to join our LibraryPlus team as a Saturday Assistant to help deliver a wide range of services and events to the local community. North Northamptonshire Council Libraries are community hubs and our Saturday Assistants are at the heart of the frontline assisting customers with accessing the Library systems, supporting events and dealing with a variety of enquiries. Providing digital support, our Saturday assistants will aid customers with their IT skills, enabling them to self-serve using the NNC website and other online services effectively and confidently.
What will you be doing?We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and people focused Saturday Assistant to join the team at Wellingborough Library. Reporting to the Library Manager you will contribute to delivering an excellent experience to our customers in the local community. This is a role which will require you to work frontline with customers and also with colleagues, volunteers, partner organisations.

This role is based at Wellingborough Library. This role will require working Saturdays and candidates will need to be flexible to the business needs of the service. This post requires an ability and willingness to travel to and to work at other libraries within the area if required.
