Security Officer – Hereford - Full-time

The role

We currently have a great opportunity to join our growing team as a Security Officer at our client site in HR1 2DT. If you are a talented and ambitious individual looking for your next opportunity in security, then we would love to hear from you.

Contracted hours: 36 hours per week, extra shifts always available, 2 week rolling rota, including every other weekend off.

Role requirements:

• Should hold a valid SIA Frontline Licence.
• 5-year checkable work/career history. All applicants will be vetted in line with industry standard BS7858

Duties include:

• Be a highly visible and proactive security presence
• Carry out all required duties as specified in the assignment instructions for the site
• Ensure safety of customers and all staff
• Conduct regular Health and Safety patrols, report and escalate any issues found
• Ensure a positive customer experience for all visitors/customers
• First responder when alerts or faults need investigating
• Ensure all exit and evacuation points are kept clear at all times

Desirable skills/experience:

• Excellent communication skills
• Operate with a high level of professionalism
• First class approach to delivering a customer focused service
• Effective report writing skills, for logging incidents in daily occurrence books
• First aid certificate
• Intermediate level PC Skills ( MS Office)
