Security Officer (Zero Hours) - Martineau Place

Purpose of the Role

As a security officer you will be working as part of a team with other security officers to provide a presence of safety to members of the public and tenants to a busy shopping centre in Birmingham City centre.

Key Responsibilities

This role of security officer will be providing security, monitoring, and maintaining health & safety to the centre working within a team of security officers. External patrolling and liaising with the shop tenants and ensuring a presence to the public, also performing daily Health & safety checks in and around the centre and reporting to the facilities manager and soft services supervisor. Monitoring public space via CCTV in a control room SIA CCTV licence required.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

ESSENTIAL:

• Excellent customer care skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and take responsibility.
• Experience in security-based roles.
• Valid Door supervisor or static security license
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.

DESIRABLE:

• Valid CCTV licence
• Flexibility for overtime if available.

Working Hours - Zero hour contract

Salary - £10.54 per hour
