Age UK's Digital & Technology division is recruiting for a Security Operations Engineer to join our Information Security team.
As Security Operations Engineer, you will be required to secure, implement, and maintain Age UK information technology systems, platforms, and processes. You will have access to the latest Microsoft tools and services to meet Age UK's security objectives.
2023 is an exciting time for Age UK. The Digital & Technology team is undergoing a transformation spanning all areas of IT - security, applications, cloud services, and data - giving you an opportunity to learn and contribute across all these domains.
This is a critical role in our Information Security strategy and requires someone with experience in vulnerability management and remediation. We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge of technical security risks across operating systems, networks, and applications.
Experience of integrating, managing and tuning security tooling in the development of lifecycle and in cloud-native environments is essential in this post. You will also be a subject-matter expert in securing infrastructure at scale with configuration management, security compliance and policy as code tooling.
Within this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of Age UK information technology systems, platforms, and processes.
With a collaborative mindset, you will provide technology and end-user support working under the direction of the Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Manager.
This role is offered on a Hybrid / London contract and will include travel as required to our modern co-working hub in East London.
