We are looking for a hard-working and reliable individual to join our team of Senior Care Assistants. The ideal candidate will have one or more years experience working in an assisted living environment, preferably with geriatric residents and will have completed first aid training. Our Senior Care Assistants will provide loving care for our residents, as well as assist in light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation. They communicate daily with the staff, including registered nurses and doctors, to keep them updated on the health and well-being of the residents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide general information and advice on a range of health issues.
• Administer medical treatments and medications as directed by physician.
• Administer immunizations and vaccinations.
• Monitor the safety and needs of residents at all times.
• Provide assistance to residents during toilet and/or bathing activities.
• Assist with the changing, dressing, and bathing of residents.
• Transport residents from one area to another as necessary.
• Train other caregivers and pay close attention to the training process.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 10-40 per week

Salary: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

• supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
• NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
