We are currently looking for a Senior Cleaning Supervisor for a full time, permanent role for a hospital located in Greater London (SW10).

Job Description

​You will ensure your team provides a high-quality domestic service to patients, staff, and visitors by maintaining a clean and safe environment, in an efficient and safe manner in accordance with the specification.

Key Responsibilities​

• Organise and allocate staff under your control to carry out the cleaning and maintenance of all hygiene standards within a designated area. Ensure that the work schedule and quality standards are adhered to in line with the specification
• Effectively supervise, train, motivate, discipline, and ensure the safety, and general welfare of staff under your control in accordance with the necessary policies, procedures including the Training Plan
• Liaise with operative staff under your control by way of discussions and regular team meetings. i.e., Performance Reviews, Job Chats, Return to Work discussions and accident and other investigations
• Complete accurate records for company systems including, sickness procedures, quality monitoring, training, and staff performance monitoring
• Order, control, monitor and issue relevant uniform, equipment, keys, materials, and other goods as required by the staff under your control to carry out their duties effectively

Professional and personal competencies/qualifications​

• Previous experience as cleaning supervisor/manager
• Healthcare cleaning experience is preferred, but not essential
• Good communication skills - written and verbal
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Packages
