Core Responsibilities
Advising on competition law and anti-bribery and corruption law issues in a manner so as to deliver high impact to the organisation.
Advising on and helping shape projects of all sizes from a competition law perspective.
Assisting in resolving any compliance failures, delivering the best result for the organisation.
Instructing, collaborating closely with and managing external counsel, where relevant.
Delivering training to the business globally on competition and anti-bribery – ensuring relevance and high levels of engagement.
Working and enhancing our compliance programmes.
Collaborating and working with other members of the Corporate Compliance team and the wider Legal, Compliance and Risk Management team to ensure the maximum impact for the agenda.

The Corporate Compliance team is within the Legal, Compliance and Risk Management team (ultimately reporting to the Global General Counsel).
The Corporate Compliance team consists of four functions. Partner Integrity, Business Conduct & Ethics, Investigations and Legal Compliance. The team is a global team where individuals have primary areas of focus but are expected to get involved in global projects and tasks. The Corporate Compliance team is a well-functioning one-stop shop for all areas of corporate compliance and there is a high degree of collaboration and support amongst the team to ultimately support the agenda of enhancing compliance within the company as a whole.
The specific role is within the Legal Compliance function and is based in London (UK). It is a global role but will have a primary focus over certain business areas/markets. The role will be for a competition law expert who will also get involved in advising on anti-bribery and corruption related issues.
Do you have what it takes?
Experience of EU and/or UK Competition Law (essential) - ideally having spent all or most of this time on competition law.
Experience of US anti-trust law (nice to have).
Experience in in-house legal team (strongly desired) and/or private practice advising on competition law.
Able to travel including global travel.
Must have delivered training presentations in the past.
Experience of working with senior partners.
Experience of advising on anti-bribery and corruption related issues.
Experience of managing and recommending enhancements to compliance programs.
Experience advising retailers/manufacturers.
Experience with working with global teams.
Ability to be flexible in working style and respond to different working styles.
Competent in office IT and IT collaboration tools
