Role Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a conscientious and detail-orientated marketeer.Supporting the Digital Marketing Lead with the execution, delivery, and optimisation of the digital media strategy across Paid Social, Display, and Affiliate channels for Apex Hotels and its sub-brands. The primary focus of the role is to deliver actionable insight and own end-to-end projects from scoping, strategy, campaign management, and analysis, through to performance reporting. The role will support core business functions, including rooms, food beverage, meetings events, and spa. Working on a hybrid model with two days a week based in our Edinburgh Head Office.

Main Responsibilities:

• Driving the continuous improvement of the digital media strategy
• Day-to-day management of the digital channels
• Paid social advertising – set up, optimisation, tracking and reporting
• Display campaigns – build, performance analysis, optimisation and reporting
• Affiliates – launching, optimisation and reporting of campaigns
• Updating and managing online listings
• Develop measurement strategies, tracking KPIs to assess campaign performance and identify issues
• To provide in-depth analysis and insights to inform customer segmentation
• Assisting the wider marketing team - supporting on key projects and initiatives
• Working in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maximise opportunities and achieve targets

About you:

• At least two years of experience in a similar role
• An understanding of the digital marketing landscape
• Google Analytics and Looker Studio expertise
• Experience managing paid social platforms, including but not limited to Meta, or LinkedIn
• Experience managing an affiliate programme and programmatic advertising knowledge would be desirable
