The experimentation team provides data assurance to teams across the entire platform on every change they're making: protecting our mission critical platform, whilst powering better decisions, helping teams go faster & maximise their impact.

Here's what we're looking for from our Senior Frontend Engineer expert…

Work with the Team Lead or other senior team members to create and maintain technical specifications, designs, and schedules
Provide technical direction to other programming team members
Implement significant portions of code, ensuring established standards of quality for documentation and coding
Anticipate and resolve issues and problems that arise, suggesting alternative approaches and solutions

• 4+ years of experience with Frontend Development
• In-depth knowledge and solid experience with HTML5, CSS / SASS, JavaScript
• Solid practical experience in Data-Driven development with technologies such as Vue.js, React, Angular or others. Experience in developing Single Page Applications
• Practical experience with State Management Pattern - Vuex, Redux, etc.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, ECMAScript Standards, Babel
• Work with Webpack
• Good knowledge of Functional Programming, Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns (Factory, Strategy, MVC, MVVM, Singleton, etc.)
• Practical experience in Test-Driven Development (Cypress, Vue-test-utils, etc.)
• Excellent understanding of UI / UX principles
• Excellent knowledge of browser behaviour, as well as dealing with compatibility issues across applications
• Optimization in application development - high speed, scalability, security
• Ability to take responsibility for feature development / project
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally in a team environment

It's not mandatory, but would be nice if you also had:

• Knowledge and experience with Docker
• Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban)
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design
• Knowledge of Micro Frontend Architecture
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment (GitHub/GitLab CI/CD, etc)
• Experience with IntelliJ IDEs
