Distribution & Aftersales - let’s introduce ourselves:
As pioneers in the Volvo world for our new direct-to consumer model for new car sales, the UK Distribution & Aftersales team are responsible for everything from the point of customer order of a new car through to delivery and then from delivery throughout the ownership experience.
Our job is to create a highly efficient distribution and logistics process from the factory gates to the customer’s driveway and then to maximise revenues and customer experience throughout the ownership phase to bring Volvo drivers back to Volvo for their next car - again and again.
Reporting directly to our Distribution and Aftersales Director. You will be able to develop this role and build on your expertise to make a true difference for the organisation!
What you’ll do:
You will deliver the strategic direction for all Distributions & Logistics activities whilst creating an environment that inspires a high-performance culture. This includes responsibility for the management of UK logistics partners, including the return of vehicle logistics and port/PDI strategy and liaison.
What you‘ll bring:
You will have proven expertise as a customer-focused manager, collaborator, and influencer along with demonstratable experience in a senior role within an automotive or retail, consumer-focused environment that has looked at strategic improvement. You will be comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day operational performance and be a problem solver that can demonstrate a high level of analytical skills in order to identify problems and come up with solutions and solve problems.
