Job Purpose:

TMHCC is running a large multiyear, multimillion pound programme (NPAS) set to completely transform its end-to-end policy administration capabilities across a number of lines of its growing and diverse book of business.

This is a delivery-focused role which will involve managing various projects and workstreams to ensure integrated end-to-end solutions (covering underwriting, operations, claims and finance) are correctly delivered.

As such, the successful candidate will be a very hands-on delivery expert from the insurance market and would have delivered large-scale (technology enabled) transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and take ownership of the integrated plan for the release and ensure risks, issues and interdependencies are actively managed and deliverables are successfully completed to meet plan dates.
• Matrix-manage project managers and work stream leads, providing leadership and challenge as appropriate.
• Proactively establish and maintain highly effective relationships with multiple delivery teams, business teams and stakeholders at all levels
• Ensure that output from the release is well understood and successfully transitioned to BAU in a way that meets and exceeds expectations.
• Work with the PMO to ensure effective RAID management and escalations and to ensure that governance and reporting is maintained to the expected high standards.

Skills and Experience Specification:

Essential:

• Demonstrable experience of delivering multiple, large-scale programmes with a high degree of technology change.
• Hands-on experience of successfully managing multiple delivery teams using different development processes (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid, etc.) as part of a single programme.
• Strong advocate of collaborative working and an expert at building relationships across a broad spectrum of business and IT stakeholders within the organisation.
• Must have experience of insurance, preferably London Market or Specialty Insurance.

Desirable:

• Experience working on large-scale policy admin system implementations as a programme delivery manager or (business facing) senior delivery lead.
