What are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SEO Copywriter to join our SEO & Ecommerce team. As a Senior SEO Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating compelling and optimised content that drives organic traffic, engages audiences, and supports overall marketing objectives within different industries. Your expertise in search engine optimisation (SEO) techniques, keyword research, and content strategy will be essential in improving client websites our website's visibility and increasing organic rankings. The ideal candidate is a creative wordsmith with a deep understanding of SEO best practices and a proven track record of delivering high-quality engaging content.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
Proven work experience as an SEO Copywriter or similar role, demonstrating a successful track record of improving organic rankings and increasing website traffic.
In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimisation techniques.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive copy for various digital platforms.
Proficiency in using SEO tools and analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, AHREFS, SURF SEO or Moz, to conduct keyword research, analyze website performance, and track SEO metrics.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for staying up to date with industry trends and emerging SEO techniques.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
