Senior Support Worker

We are looking for a confident Senior Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

We are only considering candidates with a minimum of 1 years' experience as a Senior Support Worker.

You’ll be working 42 hours a week (days and nights), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at North West Supported Living. Please be aware that you must be able to be at the service for a 8:00am start.

We support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge. Individuals are supported to hold their own tenancy agreement with a registered housing association. Individuals who are interested in living here may have previously been detained within a hospital setting and are ready for a step-down placement within their local community.

We support individuals in a number of different locations including:

• Macclesfield – 9 single occupancy apartments
• Preston – 1 bed single occupancy house
• Warrington – 1 bed single occupancy house
• Wigan – 2 bed dual occupancy house
• Wigan – 1 bed single occupancy house

Your day-to-day…

• Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service
• Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely
• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
