Corporate Information Technology (CIT) is responsible for the enterprise technology that empowers Visa Inc. staff to support ongoing management of Visa Inc. operations and drive new innovations. The Client Engineering team is responsible Endpoint infrastructure, Compute, Active Directory configuration design/standards, Process Automation, Hardware and application standards, quality assurance and performance testing, Endpoint vulnerability management.
Reporting to the Manager - Mac Client Engineering the role is responsible for the infrastructure, applications, systems, and services throughout the Visa macOS environment. The successful candidate will be required to assist in defining and setting standards, applying solutions-based engineering, assisting in the design and architecture of the macOS Environment, as well as high level operations support within the department for escalations and communication.
Essential Functions:
Act as technical evangelist for the Mac platform to enhance and promote the solution to the business.
Create and maintain all necessary documentation for supported applications to include products certified, installation and maintenance scripts.
Evaluate new releases, fixes, security updates etc., for supported applications and installation on all supported workstations platforms.
Work with various departments, technicians, and other SMEs in reviewing certifications of new applications.
Create packages utilizing Jamf and 3rd party tools as required.
Provide technical guidance and training to other members of the Client Engineering team.
Evaluate potential implementation of new applications as required.
Provide necessary analysis reports on products evaluated and recommendations.
Provide third level support on issues escalated by the first or second level support.
Assist with vulnerability remediation as needed.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
