Shift Manager

• Contract Type: Permanent / 40 Hours Per Week
• Salary: circa £36,600 plus Bonus
• Location: DPD Eurocentral - Holytown Motherwell ML1 4XL
• Days of Work: 5 out of 7 to include weekends

We are looking for experienced and motivated Shift Managers to help strengthen our depot operations management team. You will be someone who;

• Thrives working within a pressured, fast paced and time-bound environment
• Are comfortable working to strict KPI’s with some budgetary requirements
• Can effectively manage and motivate their teams of drivers and/or warehouse operatives
• Are passionate about delivering a quality service

DPD operates across 7 days so you will need to be flexible to work 5 shifts from 7 to include weekends. The roles on offer include

Shift Manager Dispatch - Hours of Work - 07:30 to 16:00

• Ensure depot target for Core Routes is achieved
• Ensure depot target Stops Per Route (SPR) is achieved
• Ensure company target for CITO is achieved
• Ensure Depot Clear is achieved

Shift Manager Sortation Nights - Hours of Work - 03:00 to 11:30

• Ensure company CAD % is achieved
• Ensure depot Throughput target is achieved in line with targeted tip time.
• Ensure company target for Saturations is achieved.
• Achieve depot PPMH target

What we’re looking for;

You will have experience in a fast paced operation with proven and demonstrable people management experience, involving direct accountability and responsibility for motivating and leading a high performing team, ideally within a Transport Setting. We would also expect:

• You will have strong communication skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and manage a team.
• Decisive and effective decision-making, problem resolution and time management skills.
• Demonstrate high levels of resilience, self-motivation and flexibility.
• Excellent computer skills with the ability to use Google chrome applications
• The ability to do comprehensive reporting, alongside analysis of data is a key requirement for this role.
• You will be highly vigilant to any unscrupulous activity taking swift and appropriate action.
