Social Worker

Grade 9 - 11 £28,129 - £38,713 per annum
Prevention & Personalisation for Erewash (South) fieldwork team is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our very busy team.
The successful candidate will be experienced in adult social work and able to demonstrate that they can work in a person centred way in accordance with current legislation and policies. Core tasks will include assessment, support planning and creative signposting.
You will complete assessments under the Care Act to identify care needs and help devise person centred support plans. You will provide social work support and advice to clients and carers supporting strength-based approaches and outcomes. Fundamental to this post is the ability to assess and manage risk and work effectively under the Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults policy and procedures. You will contribute regularly to the team duty rota.
Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
