Were On the Beach. Theres over 500 of us, mostly at home, and sometimes in our office in Manchester.
We send nearly two million people on holiday every year (not together) and were expecting to get to three million pretty sharpish. Why? Because were the only holiday company who truly gets why going on your holidays is the best week or two of the year.

What you'll be doing
There are lots of things which contribute to a perfect beach holiday for our customers. The flight and hotel are key elements and at On The Beach were well equipped to offer a great selection to pick from. In the Ancillaries team we focus on all the other elements which contribute to the perfect holiday, from the practicalities of car parking and travel insurance through to more luxurious experiences like airport lounges and private transfers.
Our existing services offer core functionality and deliver meaningful business value but were aiming to go much further. Were an OKR led cross functional product team with big plans for product growth, a variety of technical challenges to solve and significant scope for innovation.
Our job is to provide a clean and simple API to allow our customers, internal and external, to book and manage products from multiple providers. Were building new APIs, using .NET Core and Node to sit within a micro-service architecture, embracing the latest cloud technologies (AWS) and powered by CI/CD pipelines. Our goal is to have the capability to rapidly onboard new products and suppliers as well as improve the maintenance and extensibility of our existing services.
As one of our engineers, youll be expected to be a team player, be passionate about what you do and have a strong interest in engineering practices. As well as being able to deliver small to large tasks independently youll spend time collaborating with other engineers on shared work.
Were evangelists of agile values and principles but each team is responsible for their own way of working. As an engineer youll help drive the teams processes forward by promoting continuous improvement. We deploy multiple times a day and are working towards a continuous delivery pipeline.

Ways of working
Our fulltime hours are 37.5 per week, but we don't have rigid working hours so you can find the working pattern that's right for you. We have core working hours between 10am - 4pm, so we can collaborate and enjoy the social side of work.
We also have hybrid working so we all work from home and from our Aeroworks office in Manchester City Centre.
