Location: We operate a hybrid working model and fully support flexibility with colleagues already based across the UK working from home and linked to one of our core locations in Newport, London, Titchfield (Fareham), Manchester, Edinburgh or Darlington.

Salary: £39,200 - £47,400 (plus skills allowance of up to £5,000)

You will join one of our Infrastructure Engineering teams and utilise your Splunk expertise to add real value; focusing on design, build, management and support of the infrastructure services that underpin all ONS internal user services and services to the public.

As an experienced Infrastructure Engineer, you'll have a strong understanding of Splunk and experience administrating it, as well as good knowledge of Splunk's enterprise security elements. In addition, you'll be comfortable with Software System Management, dealing with incidents, requests, changes and problems as well as managing configuration, availability, capacity and performance. Ideally, you will have insight into the administration of Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, Artifactory, Git or another enterprise level software installation.
