We offer hybrid working with the requirement to be in the office two/three days a week.
You will be leading projects on the Manchester & North-West Transformation Programme, the next stage to improve and enhance the railway in the North West of England. This is a major programme delivering £220m of investment over the next 3yrs which will unlock capacity, train performance, and connectivity improvement benefits for the area. Projects include electrification, power supply and line of route upgrades and major station redevelopments. This is an exciting time to be joining the team with the complex interfaces with HS2, TRU, NPR, and IRP all driving forward.
This post will involve the direction and management of the development, and then implementation of major renewal and enhancement projects, funded by government, customer, stakeholder, or multiple funders, where Network Rail assumes a sponsorship role. You will be responsible of the delivery of the project benefit realisation to agreed scope, time and cost.

Drugs & Alcohol test: All prospective candidates offered a conditional role will be required to undergo and pass a drugs and alcohol test. Your application will be rescinded if you record a positive test. All positive drugs and alcohol test results for prospective candidates will be securely held on Sentinel Database and a 5 year suspension from applying for a safety critical role, a role which requires PTS certification or a Key Safety role on Network Rail Managed Infrastructure will be enforced.

We adhere to a structured pay framework, any salary offered will be within the following pay range: Band 3B Starting salary of £44,690 raising to £50,276.
