Do you have a passion for SEND and have had previous experience working with children with learning difficulties and would like to elaborate on this by working in a school-based setting?

A popular Secondary School located in Oldham are looking to hire a Sports Graduate to work with students with autism for the academic year.

• Group support for students with ASD
• Large school located in Oldham
• Full-time, long-term position starting ASAP
• Experienced SENCO available for support
• Ongoing training and development

The ideal candidate will support students with ASD in several classes and subjects. It is important that you have had some experience of working with students on the autistic spectrum and understand the patience needed to provide excellent support.

The school are an experienced team, and you will work alongside a supportive and knowledgeable SEND team who will further your professional knowledge and development throughout the academic year.

The school is easily accessible via public transport (bus and train). In 2017, the school was deemed 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and is a platform for ambitious teachers and education psychologists looking to increase their classroom experience.

• Previous PRU experience is advantageous.

• Graduates in Sport, Psychology, and Counselling and Therapy
• SEMH settings
