We are currently recruiting for a Staff Restaurant Chef at St. Pierre Park Resort in Guernsey, part of Hand Picked Hotels
St Pierre Park Hotel & Spa is a 4 Star Hotel with 131 bedrooms within easy reach of the beach so you can enjoy the stunning scenery when you’re off shift
This is a hugely important role, as you will be responsible for keeping our hard working team of over 100 people, well fed and nourished. You will look after day-to-day operations of the Staff Canteen, ensuring great, tasty food is available to keep our staff happier and our guests even happier! You will look after the H&S of the Canteen, upkeep of the tables and cooking and serving foods for all nationalities. This a great role for some one looking for a work life balance - you will be working 5 days out of 7, 10am - 18:30
About you:
- You’ll have previous experience in a similar environment and role
- You’ll be a stickler for hygiene and be able to demonstrate best practice
- You’ll feel comfortable in a fast-paced, busy environment
- Most of all, you’ll have an approachable, positive and proactive manner
